The South Tyrol Alpine Association mountain rescue service is led by an Executive Board composed of honorary members. They serve as the managers of the association.
The Board of management of the AVS mountain rescue service consists of a regional director, 5 representatives from each of the five rescue districts, provincial representative of dog handlers and director of the Alpenverein Südtirol. The Provincial Committee manages the business of the Provincial Association, and also represents the interests of the 35 rescue stations.
